Model Pembelajaran: Problem Based Learning & Project Based Learning

Abstract


Traditional learning models are often not effective enough in meeting the increasingly diverse learning needs of students, thus requiring learning models that are innovative and relevant to student learning needs. The aim of this research is to present an in-depth review of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) and evaluate the benefits and limitations of both in the learning context. This research method uses a library study type of research, by collecting and analyzing related sources from articles, books and academic journals. The research results present findings from the literature indicating that PBL and PjBL have great potential in increasing student engagement, promoting problem-based learning (critical thinking), and improving academic outcomes. This study provides valuable insights for educational practitioners in understanding and applying PBL and PjBL to improve student learning processes and outcomes in overcoming contemporary learning challenges.
